Good to know

Questions, answered

What is a banya?

A banya is a Russian bathhouse. You heat up in a hot sauna, cool off, rest, and repeat. It's relaxing, social, and a great way to have a deep sweat.

Is the heat OK for everyone?

Go at your own pace. Drink plenty of water, take breaks, and step out if you feel dizzy or unwell. If you're pregnant or have a heart condition or other health concern, check with your doctor before using a sauna.

I have questions before my first visit. Who do I ask?
How much does a visit cost?

A day pass is $60. Students and military with a valid ID pay $50, and kids under 12 pay $30. Regulars can save with memberships and the 10-admission pack — see all prices.

When are you open?

Monday to Friday, 2 pm to midnight (Thursdays until 1 am). Saturday and Sunday, 11 am to midnight.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes, we're BYOB (bring your own bottle). Our restaurant serves food; see the menu.

Can I get a massage?

Yes: Swedish, sports or deep tissue. 30 minutes is $75 and 60 minutes is $115; 90 minutes ($155) is sports or deep tissue. You can buy a massage online.

Can kids come?

Yes, families are welcome. Admission for kids under 12 is $30, and there's a kids' playroom inside and a playground with a trampoline out back. Questions about bringing children? Call us at 732-812-1030.

Do passes expire?

The 10-admission pack has no expiration date. Monthly and annual memberships give you unlimited visits for a month or a year. For anything else, call us at 732-812-1030.

Can I host a party?

Yes — the banya is a great place to celebrate. Take a look at the private party menu and call us at 732-812-1030.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes: $50, $100 and $200 gift certificates, plus the $175 VIP Package (a day pass, a 1-hour Swedish massage and a pot of organic loose-leaf tea). Buy them online and pick them up at the banya.

Is the sauna safe for everyone?

Saunas are very hot, so go at your own pace: drink water, take breaks and step out if you feel unwell. If you're pregnant or have a heart condition or other health concern, check with your doctor first.
